Notes on the columns

First majors
IPEDS counts a graduate with 2 majors once under the first major and again under the second. These tables count first majors only, so each award is counted once.
Certificates
In the EWU table, undergraduate certificates of at least 12 weeks but under 1 year, plus postbaccalaureate and post-master's certificates; the CSV keeps them apart. In the institution table, graduate certificates are the postbaccalaureate and post-master's certificates.
Openings a year
The Washington State Employment Security Department's average annual openings for 2023 to 2028 in Spokane County.
Linked occupations
The crosswalk lists the occupations a program's field of study commonly leads to. It is a list of possible fields of work, not a record of where graduates were hired. NCES notes that it is not based on empirical data.
