Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience using SQL to write complex queries against large data sets to derive insights and visualize the results with modern data visualization software such as Power BI
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining technology solutions in low-code application technology like Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate
- Strong experience working within the healthcare secto
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements between business users and technical development teams
- Ability to gather, analyze, interpret, and present complex data and create accurate and meaningful information for data reporting and decision support to senior leadership
- Experience consulting with users at all levels of familiarity with modern BI tools to design and implement the appropriate solution
- Proficiency in verbal/written communication to senior and executive leadership
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
- Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Preferred
- Certification in Power BI, Power Platform, Power Apps
- Experience using Python to create automated solutions
- Experience using MS SQL Server, PL/SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Databricks
- Experience with Power BI report builde
- Experience analyzing medical claims and provider data, especially using Humana's internal data
- Experience creating analytics solutions within the healthcare secto
